Standing water after a stopped cycle
Tell us the last stage you heard or saw and whether the program showed completion. Mention a recent disposal installation or slow-draining sink.
The door closes but washing won't start
Note any light, beep or message after starting. Check for a protruding utensil or rack before assuming the latch has failed.
Drying results changed
Describe the program and the items that remain wet. Drying performance and a complete failure to wash should be reported separately.
What the repair assessment needs to establish
The technician can assess the cycle stage where operation breaks down, along with the relevant water path and controls. An error code belongs with the full model number. It shouldn't become an automatic instruction to replace a drain pump or another component.
Before your service visit
Keep a leaking machine off. Owner maintenance should follow Thermador's instructions for your particular filter arrangement; avoid reaching into concealed openings. Let us know about custom panels and a raised floor that might restrict removal from beneath the counter.
