The finish doesn't identify the appliance
A stainless or cabinet-panel front can conceal different models and installations. Use the full model number if it is visible, and include a photo of the overall layout when access is difficult. That keeps the request connected to the equipment you own.
What still works is useful too
A refrigerator with working lights but poor cooling, an oven with responsive controls but no heat, or a dishwasher that fills and then stops each provides a different starting point. Mention the working functions alongside the failure.
Plan access before moving anything
A wall oven in a cabinet tower and a refrigerator secured between panels need different arrangements. Explain tight clearances, recent flooring and nearby trim when calling. The appliance can remain installed while the appointment is planned.
