A burner won't light reliably
Identify its location and describe the last normal-use attempt. Leave the affected burner off instead of trying ignition over and over.
The oven doesn't finish preheating
Note the mode and whether it gets warm at all. Include any message and whether the problem started after a power event.
Heat doesn't respond as expected
Explain which control and function are involved. A surface adjustment complaint should not be confused with uneven baking inside the oven.
What the repair assessment needs to establish
The range's fuel arrangement and model establish the right approach. A technician may need to check ignition, heat response or control operation depending on the symptom. A working cooktop does not settle a separate oven-heating complaint.
Before your service visit
Keep the range in its installed position and allow it to cool. Mention a second cavity or other cooking feature that also needs attention. A short list of affected functions helps define the requested work before an appointment window is discussed.
