Separate no heat from a change in cooking
Think about the last normal use and the first time something changed. Did the cavity remain cold, did preheat take longer, or did a familiar meal cook unevenly? An existing observation is enough; you do not need to run another high-temperature test to make the description useful.
For a double oven, identify the cavity before comparing modes. Note what the controls acknowledged when you selected the program.

Read LO and other messages in context
Wolf identifies LO as a normal preheat indication for the electric models covered by its no-heat guidance. LO by itself is not a fault code. The useful distinction is whether the oven then heats and progresses through preheat as expected.
Photograph a recurring message before clearing it. Check the selected mode and any lock or showroom indication against your exact manual. Avoid a button sequence copied from a different Wolf model: a similar-looking panel does not establish the same controls.

A range and a wall oven need different details
A separate wall oven and an oven beneath a cooking surface may use different systems. Identify whether the range is gas, dual fuel or induction. Red knobs alone do not answer that question.
If the surface burners work, report it as a separate observation. It does not prove that the oven has everything it needs to heat. The model family helps select the appropriate checks rather than treating all Wolf ovens as one design.

If it began after self-cleaning
Tell us whether self-clean completed, whether the door now opens normally and which functions stopped working afterward. The timing is useful even if the display still lights up.
Wolf has separate guidance for no heat after self-clean. Leave the affected oven off and allow it to cool. Do not start another self-clean cycle or force a locked door as a test; repeated cycles can add heat without explaining the original failure.

What the technician needs to establish
For electric equipment, the assessment may separate the supply and control response from heating, temperature sensing and cooling-fan operation. For a gas oven, ignition and gas-oven operation follow a different path. These are areas to evaluate, not a parts list to order from a symptom.
If the oven heats but results changed, bring a familiar example: the cooking mode, rack position and what browned or remained underdone. A calibration adjustment is not a general repair for a cavity that never heats. If you suspect a gas leak, leave the area and contact the gas utility or emergency services from a safe location rather than troubleshooting the oven.
